AEGEE-Valletta on National TV
Image10 years of AEGEE-Valletta, AEGEE Week 2007 and AEGEE Spring AGORA - Valletta 2007 where the main topics discussed in one of the popular afternoon TV programmes 22pm aired on the Maltese National Channel Education 22. During an interview two of the AGORA Committee members, Mr Alistair Zarb, Finance Coordinator and Ms Elizabeth Borg PR Coordinator explained what AEGEE-Valletta has been up to in these last 10 years and gave details on the projects that are being planned in the coming future to celebrate this milestone. 
 
It has been a jam-packed and very successful AEGEE Week, explained Ms Elizabeth Borg. Very interesting topics where discussed including the Euro-African relations and the Euro change over. AEGEE-Valletta also commemorated 20 years of the Erasmus project with a European languages workshop and by setting up a weeklong European Village ending yesterday with the traditional European Night.

Talking about the AGORA project, Mr Alistair Zarb explained that this is a first for AEGEE-Valletta and for a University of Malta student organisation to organise such a big event. Reference was made to the Press Conference made on campus on 7th March and to the publication that AEGEE-Valletta just launched commemorating its 10 years. Importance was also given to the aims, goals and objectives of the AGORA being held in Malta end April 2007.

At the end of the interview AEGEE-Valletta thanked Education 22 for the opportunity given and encouraged more and more students to take up the challenge and opportunities offered in being involved in AEGEE, one of the leading pan-European Student organisations, to explore Europe the real way.
